Madilyn Kell grew up in Rochester, IL and recently graduated from Stephens College with a BFA in Fashion Design & Product Development. She is currently employed as a contract designer for Carhartt's Technical Design department. Her designs combine over-the-top appearances with practical utility and function. Her design aesthetic stems from her fascination with sci-fi and cyberpunk videogames and their vibrant worlds. Her desire to create functional clothing stems from a passion for skiing that she has had since her dad first pushed her down a bunny slope at the age of 6. Her ultimate goal is to work as a technical designer for a ski/board, sportswear, workwear, or outdoors company. She is currently building her skills in pattern making, technical design, and CLO3D for patternmaking/3D garment rendering.
